An Assignment for one of my Dynamic Imagery class. The project was to create a poster for an event, which could be real or fictional. We would then animate the poster a little bit to make it more dynamic and immersive.
I chose to make a tour poster for the band- Yonaka. They are a British punk rock band. They have heavy vocals with their female lead singer and strong guitar riffs in their music.
I wanted to represent their strong energetic and punk music in the poster. I thought associating their music and aesthetic with an animal and decided on a Cheetah. This became the basis for my thumbnails and from there I experimented and tried multiple outcomes before reaching the final product.
