This is a series of MTA Art Cards which focused on merging toys with the experience of using the subway system. Art Cards are long horizontal pieces that are typically placed in the frames above seating on the MTA. 'Toy Avenue' refers to a fictional Avenue mentioned in the second piece of the series. I thought it would be an apt name.
These pieces are made from cut paper. All patterns and markings were made from using markers or creating textures through indentations.
